Hi everyone, I am here to help you in achieving the good bands in IELTS exam. This exam is conducted 3 to 4 times every month around the world by IDP as well as British Council. I have seen a lot of students giving their best to achieve better bands, but some of them are unable to do so. So here I am going to start making blogs on how to make IELTS easy and achieve 6-7 bands. In this blog, I will post some tips and tricks for the IELTS exam.

IELTS make us sure about better Universities and colleges by gaining good or even outstanding IELTS score. Many education institutes around the world have different requirements-better the program, the higher the IELTS score needed.

When I was having the training of IELTS, I also looked at it as a difficult task which is just my imagination. At that time I went through many talks with experienced teachers and some web pieces of information where I found a lot of tricks that helped me to get the good bands.
The IELTS exam, which is thought to be difficult, is just our insight into it.

This test is only checking our English skills, not our knowledge. So for it, you have to be good in English and in my further posts I will tell you some tips, that you can learn English easily. 

IDP and British Council gives us band according to our level of speaking, listening, reading and writing Englis; so their first focus is on our English skills and afterward goes to our content, we speak and write. Most of the pupils feel difficult to write a task and in the reading module. Keeping this in my mind, I thought to share my tips regarding reading and writing in my next post.

BENEFITS OF IELTS

Apart from the students, people who wish to go to a foreign country for Work Visa, Immigration or on Dependent have to appear for IELTS in order to prove their proficiency in English Language.

IELTS is regarded as one of the best parameter in terms of English proficiency around the world.

Apart from being the prominent parameter, it also helps students wiling to avail the Scholarships. Most of the MNCs, various foreign Government Organizations as well as the Universities and Colleges are providing some attractive Scholarship Opportunities for students who are on student visa.

Nowadays even people looking for some good job opportunity in the MNCs and looking forward to moving abroad for jobs, IELTS as a medium of English proficiency is considered while recruitment as well.

Educational Institutions also before hiring Faculty, are now asking for IELTS scores and also nowadays even the existing Faculty are asked to appear for the exam.

FORMAT OF IELTS

The IELTS exam is divided into four modules-listening, reading, writing and speaking.
1.Listening:-In this, four recorded monologues are played and we have answered the question from listening to the audio.Approximately 30 min audio is played and 10 min. extra is given to transfer the answers to the answer sheet.

2.Reading:-In reading module, three long passages with tasks are provided and these all passages are authentic(e.g taken from books, journals, newspaper). One hour is given for this, means each passage should be completed in 20 min.

3. Writing:-Students are asked to do two tasks in the writing section. Writing task one of at least 150 words where the candidate describes the graphs, charts, tables etc. Writing task two is a short essay of at least 250 words and one hour is given for both tasks, but we should give 20 min. to task one and rest to task two.

. 4.Speaking:-This is a face-to-face interview of a candidate with examiner wherein short questions, speaking on a familiar topic(CUE CARD) and a structured discussion.
